Fanfic Contest :: Rubber Soul

Time for a new contest! Thank you to everyone who has entered contests of mine in the past. I hope there's an even better turnout than ever before this time! If you couldn't gather from the title of the contest, the theme for this one is the Beatles, who have such a broad range of music and themes, I'm sure there's something for everyone. ~ As I mentioned before, the theme for this contest is the Beatles, but by NO means does that mean you have to write a song fic. Nor does that mean you even have to take direct influence from their extensive discography, either. It's perfectly alright to draw from their solo work or things such as bagism and bed-ins. You can even write about something that's influenced by the era if you so choose. Just go crazy and remember, all you need is love ♥

~ As per usual, the fic MUST center on Heero and Duo. The fic doesn't have to be romance per se, but should you wish to make it thus, Heero and Duo must be a pair by the end. (As in, they can start out with other people, preferably OCs, but the story must work towards them as a couple as my site is exclusively Heero/Duo centric.) Please try to keep the idea of 1=2 in mind when you write as well.

~ The deadline for this one is going to be spring of next year. I'll call it May 20th for the time being, though that might be subject to change depending on how things go. However, I think that still leaves everyone plenty of time to come up with something good!

~ Because of the theme, I'm not going to put a required length out for entries sinc something doesn't have to be long to have substance. However, work that appears to be un-beta-ed will be turned away with notice. ~ Please e-mail me your finished entry at linkworshiper@underthebridge.org before midnight (EST) on the night of the dealine. If you need any extra time, please let me know beforehand.

~ It would be a HUGE help if you are able to at least do basic HTML codes on your story for things such as italics and bold stuff, but please don't just let Word do it for you as it just inserts a lot of annoying, random code. If you have any questions regarding HTML coding your fic, please email me and I'd be glad to help.

~ And of course, the winner will receive prize art drawn by me depicting a scene from their fic.
